“At least you are wearing a life jacket!”
Designed as a pastiche of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Hokusai (1831), with the water representing emotions of the person lost at sea under a stormy sky. The cross-stitch took a few months to complete and on a number of occasions people commented "At least you are wearing a life jacket!" which always felt like they were missing the point.
